TONY HOLMQUIST
Tony was the recipient of Wharepuke’s international printmaking award in 2014 and came as an artist in residence in 2015 when he held a successful solo show in the gallery.

He is a visual artist/printmaker and is also a musician who researches, interprets, and disseminates old-time music through the fiddle, banjo, and guitar. He currently resides in Durango, Colorado where he is an Associate Professor in the Department of Art & Design at Fort Lewis College.

ANDREA MARTENS
Andrea is a visual artist living and working in Roanoke, Virginia. Her research in mixed-media printmaking focuses on the human/animal relationship and issues of open space and confinement, as well as physical and psychological space. In addition to creating in the studio, she teaches printmaking and drawing at Hollins University.
